Dear Walter cousins, Even though we cannot be with you due to Covid, know that we are with you in mind and spirit. I found that losing my father was VERY difficult but life remained the same because Mom was still with us. When we lost her, it felt like the glue that held us together was gone. We soon realized though that what they had instilled in us was still there and we were, and always would be, the strong loving family they both raised. Your parents were the same. We loved them and you and are very glad we are family. There are so many god memories of our families together! Your Mom was very special and will be missed. Our love and prayers for your peace and comfort.

To all the Walter siblings, my cousins, I wish you comfort and peace. Your Mom was a kind a gentle soul. Soft spoken but a powerful force. I am remembering the picnics at the farm, the holidays at Grandma Hartman's and picnics at your homestead. Most of all, I remember her famous cookies, at every event she attended, and her sharing them with us all. You all have each other, a blessing. Know we loved your Mom and are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.
