REID - Derek E. Passed unexpectedly December 8, 2020. Derek was the dear son of the late Daniel (Barbara) and Bonita; brother of Albert, Danielle (Stephen) Cofta, Victoria (Joseph) Golonka and the late Sharlen; Uncle of Megan (Scott) and the late Ryan. He is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Derek was a graduate of the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts and was employed at the Ritz Carlton on Amelia Island for the last 23 years. He was an avid skier and loved to travel and live life to the fullest. He was a friend to everyone who knew him and anyone that knew him, loved him. His absence will be felt by many and he will be missed deeply.
