Pacini, Urbano V. “Albie, Al” - February 24, 2019

PACINI - Urbano V. “Albie, Al” Of West Seneca, NY, February 24, 2019. Beloved husband of 59 years to Deanna (nee Colvin); loving father of David (Evonne) Pacini and Lori (Frank) DeNisco; dear grandfather of Patrick, Frank, and Alex; brother of Yolanda (Fred) DiPaolo; brother-in-law of Sharon (Tony) Lis; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family welcomes relatives and friends to a Mass of Christian Burial at Fourteen Holy Helpers Church, 1345 Indian Church Rd. at Union Rd., West Seneca, Saturday, March 16 at 11 AM. No prior visitation. Al was a master stone mason and a 50 year gold card member of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 3, a hairdresser and salon owner, and an accomplished artist in watercolor, oil, and acrylics. Urbano Valentino Pacini was born in 1936 in Buffalo, NY. The youngest of five children born to Valentino and Anita Pacini. Albie grew up on the lower west-side, played along the towpath, swam in the Niagara River and canal near the foot of Ferry. He attended Hutchinson Tech and apprenticed as a stone mason before working as a journeyman mason for over forty years. Al Pacini moved his family to the Tampa Florida area for a few years in the seventies but returned to Buffalo as many do. A back injury inspired Al to take classes and become a licensed Hairdresser, opening three salons over the years. Eventually he split time between hairdressing and brickwork, ultimately picking up his trowel again full time. He was a proud Gold Card member of BAC Local 3. His brick and stonework lives-on throughout Western New York, New York City, Ontario and Sault Ste. Marie Canada, the Tampa Bay area, and in Washington DC. Watercolor painting became a large part of his life, creating many beautiful works of art with several pieces receiving awards. He was a member of the East Aurora Art Society and was a founding member of the West Seneca Art Society. Please share your online condolences at www.PACERFUNERALHOME.com

Albie was the embodiment of all that is great in America. His spirit was indomitable, and will live forever in his work. Quite and certain pride in his Pacini ancestry was omnipresent. My mother and father loved him dearly, and are now reunited. Rest in peace, cousin, knowing that your beloved family will celebrate your amazing life every day.
