Moxon, James Barton “Jim”- July 22, 2021

MOXON - James Barton “Jim” Age 75, of Cheektowaga, NY, passed peacefully at his home under the care of Hospice on July 22, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Nancy (nee Rosinski) Moxon; loving brother of Linda (Tom) Coye of Kilmarnock, VA; uncle of Tim Coye of Seattle, WA; faithful fur companion, Ryan. Jim was the son of the late Roy and Doris Moxon. Growing up in Perry, NY, Jim achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, an honor he highly valued. He worked in the family’s printing business, was a volunteer EMT with the Perry Emergency Ambulance Squad, a member of the Ski Patrol and a member of Kiwanis. He was a graduate of RIT and SUNY Geneseo. Jim was an accountant in Buffalo and earned the designation of Enrolled Agent. He was a committed volunteer for many charitable organizations. He was a ham radio operator and the treasurer of M.O.R.E. Maryvale. He taught many classes for The Red Cross and Driver Safety for AARP. As an animal lover, he volunteered for A Pet Connection and Joyful Rescues. A Visitation will be held on August 23th, from 4-7 PM, and a Celebration of Life August 24th at 11 AM, at PACER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2275 George Urban Blvd., Depew (2 Blocks east of Dick Rd.). We are very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We always enjoyed getting together with him and Nancy. He was fun to be with him and hearing his witticisms and there were many! WE will miss you.

I'm so glad I got to know Jim. I met him and Nancy when we ushered together at area theaters, and I came to know and respect his deep devotion to his pets and his expertise in doing taxes. I learned a lot from Jim, and I admired his many talents. He will be missed.

I am sorry to learn Jim “Tucker” Moxon has passed and e termed eternal rest. He will always be remembered as a devoted Boy Scout and respected Perry Central School classmate. RIP, my friend.
