Kucinski, Marian Alice (nee Bigosinski) - December 27, 2020

KUCINSKI - Marian Alice (nee Bigosinski) December 27, 2020, of Depew, NY. Wife of the late Henry P. Kucinski; devoted mother of Joseph (Chun), Karen (Robin Fukuyama), Kathryn (Mark) Koch, and Michael Kucinski; loving grandmother of Adam, Alexis, David (Young Ran), Harris, Jennifer (Scott Smith), and Rhys and great-grandmother of James, Laina, Matthew, Sadie and Tyler; survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Born February 3, 1930 in Buffalo, Marian grew up on the East Side. She was a member of St. Luke’s R.C. Church, the Our Lady of Fatima Guild and the CSEA as she worked until retirement for the Erie County Department of Environment and Planning. Marian loved black coffee and sweets, trips to Wegmans, Sunday mass, old movies, and her friends and family. As she would say, “you can talk to anyone!”, and she did. A phone call from her would make your day. The sight of her beautiful handwriting in the mailbox put a smile on your face. The strength from her fierce hugs let you know you were not alone. And if none of that did the trick, she’d feed you. Marian will be remembered for her kind heart and her generous spirit. The world was lucky to have had her in it. Many have known and loved her and will miss her dearly. Memorial donations may be made to the Response to Love Center or the Felician Sisters of Buffalo. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services will be held at a later date. Online condolences at www.PACERFUNERALHOME.COM

Dear Michael,Kathy,Joe,Karen I was so sorry to hear about your moms passing. I talked to her a week ago and she sounded great and upbeat like always I always thought of my aunt as the energizer bunny that always kept going and plowed thru any situation that life brought her way Never Complaining and always smiling. I only wish I had half the good Qualities my aunt Marion had. Whenever I called my aunt I would Put on a fresh pot of coffee and almost finish it before we hung up. always good for over a hour or more on the line I only wish we did that more often. My Aunt will be greatly missed and Never Forgotten. We now have another ANGEL to watch over us IF THERE IS ANYTHING I CAN DO LET ME KNOW Mark & Georgianne Lachowski

I will miss my dear friendship with Marian that began way back in high school. Like many, I enjoyed our phone conversations over the years and even our trip to the Galleria Mall just a few years ago! Sharing your sadness with heartfelt sympathy as you remember and cherish your mom's love. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Marian was a mentor as well as a dear friend. I worked with her for many years. Our desks faced each other and it was a pleasure to see her beautiful smile everyday. She made “work” enjoyable. Everything was about family and she made her coworkers part of her circle of love. I will keep your family in my prayers.
