GREINER - Alice (nee Helbig) On December 7, 2020. Wife and mother of seven passed away at the age of 89 at the GreenField Health and Rehabilitation Center. Alice was born on September 18th, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA to Fred and Anna Helbig. On October 4th, 1961 she married Donald E. Greiner. With her husband she built a thriving business within the bowling industry which included the ownership of three bowling centers, a wholesale bowling equipment distributor and trophy shops. She was an avid bowler and a long term member of the women’s bowling traveling league. Among many things she enjoyed playing cards, bingo and slot machines. She also enjoyed golfing and was a member of several golf leagues at the Lancaster Country Club. With her husband she enjoyed to travel and visited Europe, the Far East and much of America. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred, her mother, Anna, her sister Chris Grubka and her husband Donald. She is survived by a large extended family of children and grandchildren.
