Dahn, Angela M. (nee Raimonde) - April 24, 2020

DAHN - Richard W. And Angela M. (nee Raimonde) Richard, United States Air Force Veteran, passed away April 22, 2020, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease, and Angela passed away April 24, 2020, after succumbing to dementia. Richard and Angela were both 84 years old at the time of their passing. Beloved husband and wife of 62 years; loving parents of Angela Lindner, Christina (Don) Juliano, Richard (Susan) and Michael (Michele); adored grandpa “Papa” and Gramma of 15 grandchildren; cherished great-grandparents of nine. Richard was son of the late Mamie Priechel and Richard W. Dahn; brother of David “Red”, Danny “Bink” and the late Tom and Phil. Angela was daughter of the late Caroline and Joseph Raimonde and sister of the late Ignatius “Ned”. Richard and Angela are also survived by many nieces and nephews. Richard and Angela spent nearly 70 years together, meeting when they were just teenagers. Their entire life revolved around each other and the incredible family that they built. Although saying goodbye to both Richard and Angela has been incredibly difficult, the family takes comfort knowing that the next chapter in their love story begins just as they would have wanted it - together now, always, forever. Donations in Richard and Angela’s names to the Alzheimer’s Association appreciated. Condolences at www.PACERFUNERALHOME.com

Our hearts go out to you during your time of grief. May the “God of all Comfort” comfort you with His peace during this difficult time. Ned & Sienna Raimonde A tribute poem by Sienna: Good-Bye A mother, father— So much more. You heard death knocking At your door. Still, you could not Forget the love, That made you one From God above. He would not leave His bride behind, And so, he called For her to find, The place where she Could still embrace, And see her lover Face to face. The earth once filled With two best friends And heartfelt love That never ends; Has now grown silent— What a space, As hand in hand You left this place.

Fondly remembering Angie from her many years at Maryvale. Her outgoing personality - her interactions with students and staff - helped make all that was good and great, a treasure for us all to be part of the Maryvale Community. My heartfelt deepest sympathy to her and Richard's wonderful family
