VALLONE (nee Bateman)- May 2, 2010, of Cheektowaga, wife of the late Robert E.; dear mother of Nancy (Michael) Alspaugh, Janet, Jeffery (Viola) and the late Susan; loving grandmother of Michael Renner, Jr., Tyler, Caitlin Alspaugh and Sara (Ray) Lotz and great-grandmother of Matthew Robert; sister of William (Molly) Hauck. Funeral from the PACER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2275 George Urban Blvd. (two blocks east of Dick Rd.) Wednesday 9:30 and St. Barnabas Church 10 AM. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Janet, My thoughts are with you at this time. I know how close you and your mother were and I can only imagine what you must be going through right now. To the children and family---I consider myself fortunate to have been a friend of your mother throughout high school.Then after many years of being away from Cheektowaga of being able to renew ties at our 50th high school reunion.I was about to write her a letter telling of the new canine addition to our family,thinking it would brighten her day when I received the e-mail of her passing.Thank you for notifying me.I cannot find the words today to express my sadness and grief at your loss.My prayers and thoughts are with all of you--God bless--Lucien (Lou) Garo--Bethesda,Md.
